Schools and youth education.
All schools in Tellius are organised into three tiers of learning, with differing subjects and time sets for each.
Each tier of learning is organized by age groups, 5-12 for 1st tier, 12-16 2nd tier, and 18 and over for third tier.
All students are expected to work to the best of their ability as it is their duty, failure to comply will result in punishment.
Students under the age of 16 who get into trouble with school, their parents are the ones to be blamed, but if you are 16 and over, you are legally responsible for your actions.
1st and 2nd tier learning can be considered 'schooling' but Advanced 3rd tier study is considered independent learning as it is with a mentor.
The 3 levels of Learning.
1st Tier (8:00-4:00)
Through the 1st tier, students go to learn basic study. The students learn different kinds of classes that all can enjoy. When students have reached the 2nd tier, the students choose what class they have enjoyed most, and what they have decided to pursue (this can always be changed if they do not find what they choose to be the right choice).
2nd Tier (8:00-5:00 may vary)
The Secondary level of school consists of the students learning the subject they have chosen to learn. The students can learn many different subjects, depending on the states and schools but most consist of base subjects, such as, Media studies, Building, Architecture, Maths, Arts, Music, History, Science, Christianity, and English. By the end of the Secondary Tier students go to Advance Studies (3rd Tier) to further pursue their chosen subjects.
3rd Tier (completely variable)
In Advance Study, the students choose, or assigned, a mentor to teach them about the appropriate subject they have chosen. Often more than one student is assigned to one mentor. When the students are skilled and reliable enough to work on their own(this may take many years depending on the career), they go on to work with their chosen career, and eventually become a mentor themselves.
For learning purposes there is a massive main library storing all Tellius' knowledge located in the captiol city of Tellius. It is accesible by all, as knowledge is extremely highly valued in Tellius.
